With an artisanal approach, we use the finest materials to create our products, all finished by hand from our workshops in rural Surrey, UK. Championing British manufacturing, we operate specialist laser cutters and UV printers creating exceptional quality-led gifts and souvenirs. Our team of designer-makers proudly supply leading retailers, heritage sites and independent shops throughout the UK and worldwide. Workshop Operative – Full Time / Part Time (20hrs minimum)
Job Description:
- Preparation of material prior to laser cutting which includes laminating paper, fabrics and painting onto plywood sheets.
- Sanding wooden product using industrial sanding machines.
- Maintaining adequate stock levels of prepared material.
- Working in a workshop environment the job holder will occasionally be required to use hand tools and light lifting duties.
The ideal candidate:
- Has an exceptional eye for detail to meet product specifications and quality levels.
- Good communicator, able to work within the team and equally independently.
- Organised and can multi-task using their own initiative, with good time-management skills.
- Be able to prioritise and coordinate to achieve daily output requirements.
- Light-medium lifting duties, you will need to be fit and active to work daily in the workshop.
- Previous experience in a workshop environment would be beneficial but is not essential as on the job training of all equipment and processes will be given.
Location: In-person. We are based in South Godstone, Surrey in a semi-rural business park. Own transport is necessary. Postcode: RH9 8JW
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (minimum 20 hours). Monday – Friday. Work schedule is flexible and can be agreed with the successful applicant.
Pay: £23,500+ pro rata based on experience and skillset.
Details: 28 days holiday pro rata (b/h included), pension scheme, on-site parking, staff discount, opportunity for overtime during seasonal peaks and weekends.

Laser Cutter Technician – Full Time
Job Description:
- Responsible for creating laser cut products to specification.
- Operating laser cutting machinery and CAD software to produce wooden decorations.
- Operating and coordinating multiple machines simultaneously.
- Communicate across departments to ensure daily output requirements are met.
- Postproduction inspection, sanding where required using industrial sanding machines.
- Support when necessary, in the preparation of material prior to cutting, to include: priming and laminating.
- Working in a workshop environment the job holder will occasionally be required to use hand tools and light lifting duties.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has an exceptional eye for detail to meet product specifications and quality levels.
- Computer literate.
- Good communicator, able to work within the team and equally independently
- Organised and can multi-task using their own initiative, with good time-management skills
- Be able to prioritise and coordinate to achieve daily output requirements.
- A general understanding and the ability to use hand tools is desired.
- Light-medium lifting duties, you will need to be fit and active to work daily in the workshop.
- Previous experience in a workshop environment would be beneficial but is not essential as on the job training of all equipment and processes will be given.
Minimum requirements:
- 5 GCSE’s at level C and above.
- Previous experience working with CAD machines would be beneficial.
- Previous experience in manufacturing / workshop environment would be beneficial.
- Be able to demonstrate working within a team environment.
