Product Maker & Hand Finisher
Part Time (30hrs), Flexible between Mon-Fri 9-5pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Maker and Hand Finisher to join our creative finishing team. This role involves hand-finishing decorations, keyrings, magnets and pin badges and producing high-quality, decorative wooden products. Our work is supplied to some of the best-known retail organisations nationwide, so attention to detail, quality products and pride in craftsmanship are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand finishing Artcuts wooden gifts and decorations as per production instructions, quality standards and customer requirements
- Hands-on role includes ribboning, glueing and assembling
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout production
- Ensure where required products are packaged and barcoded
- Work collaboratively across the team to ensure smooth workflow and timelines are met
- Keep the finishing room clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements
Key Skills & Personal Characteristics:
- A creative, maker or crafter with a passion for hand-making products
- Has an exceptional eye for detail and takes pride and satisfaction in producing high-quality work
- Reliable, focused individual who enjoys working in a team environment to complete orders
- Able to work effectively under time pressure while maintaining high standards
- Organised and can multi-task using their own initiative, with good time-management skills to achieve daily output requirements
- Experience in a creative or making environment advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided

Workshop Operative – Laser Cutting Production
Full Time (37.5hrs)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating laser cutting machines and a large wide-belt sanding machine to produce high-quality decorative wooden products. Our work is supplied to some of the best-known retail organisations nationwide, so attention to detail, quality products and pride in craftsmanship are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in operating laser cutting machines to produce decorative wooden components to precise specifications
- Ensure the workflow timelines on job outputs are met
- Preparing and planning customer orders as per production instructions, drawings, and quality standards
- Support in identifying the necessary material to fulfil orders prior to cutting
- Preparation of material prior to cutting, to include: priming and laminating of wooden sheets to support the laser cutting team
- Work collaboratively with other teams across the manufacturing process to ensure smooth workflow and timelines are met
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout production
- Operate large wide-belt sanding machines to achieve high-quality finishes
- Support the preventative maintenance of machinery across the entire workshop
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements
- Working in a workshop environment the job holder will occasionally be required to use hand tools and light lifting duties
Key Skills & Personal Characteristics:
- A team player and excellent communicator
- Organised and can multi-task using their own initiative, with good time-management skills
- Be able to prioritise and coordinate to achieve daily output requirements
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with other manufacturing teams

- Takes pride and satisfaction in producing high-quality work
- Physically active and comfortable spending extended periods on your feet
- Must be computer literate
Experience & Background:
- Ideally from a workshop, manufacturing, or production environment
- Candidates from other disciplines will be considered if they can clearly demonstrate the required skills and characteristics
- Experience with laser cutting or sanding machinery is advantageous, full training will be provided

Junior Print Technician – UV Printing
Full Time (37.5hrs)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Print Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating UV digital printing machines to produce high-quality decorative wooden products. Our work is supplied to some of the best-known retail organisations nationwide, so attention to detail, quality products and pride in craftsmanship are essential.

- Support in operating UV printers to add designs to wooden components with precise specifications
- Ensure the workflow timelines on job outputs are met
- Preparing and printing customer orders as per production instructions, drawings, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with other teams across the manufacturing process to ensure smooth workflow and timelines are met
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout production
- Support the preventative maintenance of printers, order consumables and be proactive with troubleshooting
- Keep the print room clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements
Key Skills & Personal Characteristics:
- A team player and excellent communicator
- Organised and can multi-task using their own initiative, with good time-management skills
- Be able to prioritise and coordinate to achieve daily output requirements
